The Ocean Devotion Crew

Jeremy

Licensed Guide & USCG 25 Ton near Coastal Captain guiding from the Port of Homer, Alaska. I grew up in Wisconsin, and was tugging on dad’s shirt as early as I can remember to go fishing! The passion has only grown since I was a youngster. As young as I can remember I told my father I wanted to be a guide & by the Grace of God wonderful accomplishments have occurred such as much experience and a vast knowledge of service work in the boating/guiding industry across the states. After 10 years as a full-time fishing guide, many tournament wins & top finishes in professional tournaments, I love most to share the experience with others & pass on those moments of high motion & appreciation of God’s creation of sea, mountains, & critters! My absolute favorite part of the position is to see the smile on your face, the bonding and emotional moments which occur in playing a role in doing the best I can to make your dreams come true! It is of utmost importance to me to be safe, be legal, and of course have fun! Do love yellow eye, but favorite species is a toss up between Lingcod / King Salmon & Halibut.

– Captain Jeremy Schreiner

Jeremy specializes in rockfish-halibut-salmon combo fishing charters. These are fun full-day of fishing with the opportunity to fish areas possible outside the average full-day fishing! Combos for Lingcod are available starting July 1.

I was born and raised in Colorado. I love God, I love fishing, backpacking , camping , horseback riding and anything outdoors. I have experience as a wrangler and trail guide in Colorado and experience as a fishing guide , snowmobile guide, dog musher and commercial fisherman in Alaska. I moved to Alaska in October and the adventure is just beginning. I also don’t practice catch and release, I eat the fish I catch.
