Greetings from the Inlet Charters team

Greetings from the Inlet Charters team! This is the time of year where we can switch gears from daily work to family, friends and community. We have so much to be thankful for and that includes you all. With your patronage and joy of our beautiful surroundings our season was full of fun adventures with folks who traveled from all over the world to our “Our cosmic hamlet by the Sea ”! As referred to by Homer’s “Brother Asaiah Bates” , our old patron sage of the lower Kenai Peninsula. Our local “Homer ” Bookstore has an interesting read of Brother Asaih written by Martha Ellen Anderson. The book is a fascinating read of when Asaiah came to Homer as a Barefooter. Never wore shoes! That was a tuff Clan! We learned much by navigating our ever changing world and…

Thank You to Our Amazing Crew

Here at Inlet Charters, we have enjoyed the bountiful August season with berry picking and silver salmon fishing. To us, this time of year marks the peak of summer: picking the colorful berries, making jam, freezing berries for added color during winter, and having salmon in the brine while the smoker gets set up. As…

Vintage Logo is Back! (While Supplies Last!!)

Through the years Inlet Charters has developed relationships throughout our great state with local guides. Back in the day we had to call and leave messages on landlines knowing everyone was out on an adventure,”out of touch”! As time moved on, the ability to book online became a reality. Although we like to talk to…

Katmai National Park Bear Viewing, Whale Watching, & More!

Summer has arrived along with the 10,0000 migrating seabirds landing on our beaches to feed and then move onto their migration. The sandhill cranes have started having their colts. We have been watching the baby moose with their mom’s popping up in all the green fields. Our pilots have been taking clients to view the…

Homer Bed & Breakfast Recommendations!
