The West Wind is a sleek 28-foot monohull vessel built by KingFisher in British Columbia, expertly designed to handle the coastal waters of the Northwest. Captain Rob began his journey with fishing and boating in California while serving in the Navy in 2013. During his military career, he had the opportunity to visit Alaska and fell in love with its rugged beauty. After an honorable discharge and overcoming a year-long battle with cancer, he made Alaska his home to fulfill his dreams of becoming a hunting guide and charter captain. Now in his fourth season as a captain in Alaska, Rob is known for his infectious smile and unwavering passion for sharing the joys of fishing and wildlife with every guest aboard.
